Gord conducts a practice that includes real estate, wills and estates, corporate law, civil litigation, and minor personal injury matters.
He completed legal studies at Bond University in Gold Coast, Australia in 2007 where he graduated with his Juris Doctor. In 2008, Gord obtained a Certificate of Qualification from the Federation of Law Societies of Canada's National Committee on Accreditation.

Originally from North Bay, Gord worked for five years at Queen’s Park where he served the Premier of Ontario as well as the Ministers of Tourism and Recreation and Natural Resources in the area of issues management and as a communications advisor. 

While in law school, Gord was hired to complete research on a major Supreme Court of Queensland civil litigation file.  Following his return to Canada, he clerked for various Toronto Bay Street firms.  He was also a researcher with the Attorney General’s Crown Law Office (Civil Division) for the Cornwall Public Inquiry.

Gord sits on the executive of the Nipissing Law Association, is on the Seeing More Clearly Campaign Cabinet in its efforts in assisting the New North Bay Hospital to provide MRI services for the area, and is on the Board of Physically Handicapped Adults Rehabilitation Association (P.H.A.R.A) North Bay. He has been a contributor for the Ontario Bar Association's Briefly Speaking magazine, and for the Law Society of Upper Canada's 2008 Licensing and Accreditation Task Force.
 
In his spare time, Gord enjoys skiing, music, golfing, and traveling.
